At Indah House Kuching, we celebrate Sarawak’s rich cultural heritage through food, art and travel adventures

Our Story
Where Cuisine Meets Culture
In the heart of Kuching, our quaint little café buzzes with the spirit of Sarawak. Established in 2014, our story began as an art gallery café; a canvas for local creativity and a place where art meets life.
Our
Story
#IndahHouseKuching started in 2014 as an art gallery cafe, providing a platform for especially Sarawak artists & artisans to promote & sell their products, services & workshops.
Over the years, we have grown our F&B segment while still staying true to our philosophy of promoting Sarawak's diverse culture through food and art products. We work with local communities in sourcing for produce for the Cafe & Bakery.
We share our knowledge of Sarawak's indigenous produce and style of cooking through our Sarawak style fun cooking classes.
We support local communities through specially designed local trips, supporting local guides & communities.
Just in January 2024, we learnt that our women lead business can be considered a social enterprise as in addition to the pass work & support that we have done, we continue to give especially Sarawakian women from the B40 communities an opportunity to carve their skill in hospitality, food & beverage industry. Empowering these women to be financially independent & be the positive influence & change in their respective communities.
In our very own small way, giving out food aid & providing a safe space for people to share their mental health issue way before Covid, we hope to have a bigger impact while working with like-minded stakeholders by preparing & handling out ready-to-eat meal kit during flood relief & fire in the interior of Sarawak.
Indah has started selling online its Sarawak themed ready-to-eat-food like gula apong granola & tempe chips, five varieties of sambal, plant based included.
